Chapter 1 About this book

This book documents my journey through a semester of learning R—one marked by persistence, problem-solving, and a considerable amount of trial and error.
Each chapter represents an assignment that required not only technical skill, but patience, resilience, and more time than initially anticipated.
While these projects involved their fair share of confusion, debugging, and frustration, they ultimately reflect my growth in data cleaning, visualization, statistical analysis, and reproducible reporting, as well as my determination to see each challenge through to completion.
